A master barber is typically a barber who has a greater level of experience, education, and skills than other barbers. When you book at a Master Barber studio, you are buying into experience and trust. Someone who works at a high-end studio is held to a higher standard and is therefore exceptionally trained and has reputable experience - sometimes even 20 or 30 years of experience.
